As Head of Construction at Access Industries, Peter Darrell is the primary member of the investment team responsible for the execution of all development and value-add investments for the company. In addition, he underwrites all new development and value-add opportunities. With a real estate portfolio valued at over $9 billion, Access Industries uses permanent, scalable, long-term capital to build a diverse portfolio of iconic hotels, irreplaceable mixed-use developments, and diverse income-producing residential and commercial assets to achieve an attractive risk-adjusted return.
Prior to Access, Darrell was Vice President, Asset Management for Vanke US. As a key member of the investment team, Darrell was the primary person responsible for the asset management of existing Vanke US investments and reviewing acquisition targets for feasibility overseeing a portfolio valued at about $7.5 billion. Prior to Vanke, Darrell was the Associate Director of Investments at The RSP Companies, a boutique private equity real estate investment firm focused on New York multifamily investments.
Darrell received his Bachelor's Degree from Rice University and his MBA from Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business where he graduated Beta Gamma Sigma with a concentration in Real Estate Finance, and an Honors Certificate in International Business Diplomacy.
