Patrick Wernig is a Managing Director on the Investments team at Four Corners Property Trust (NYSE: FCPT) and is based in San Francisco. FCPT has acquired over $1.3 billion of net lease retail properties during his tenure at the company. Wernig’s main responsibilities include sourcing and underwriting new investment opportunities as well as ongoing portfolio management.
Prior to joining FCPT, Wernig worked in J.P. Morgan’s investment banking group in New York. While at J.P. Morgan, he focused on advisory projects and capital raising for real estate clients in the retail, multifamily and office sectors. This work included Darden Restaurants’ real estate monetization effort, which resulted in FCPT’s creation and spin-off. Wernig began his career as an equity research analyst at Barclays Capital based in London, U.K.
Wernig received his B.S. in Business Administration and MBA from Georgetown University.
