David Hammerman is a Chief Operating Officer, Global Real Estate Funds for Fortress Investment Group, based in Los Angeles and responsible for equity and structured debt investments. Prior to Fortress, Hammerman was a vice president for Mack Real Estate Credit Strategies, L.P., based in Los Angeles and responsible for leading West Coast originations. Previously, Hammerman was a vice president for ICONIQ Capital’s real estate direct investing team as well as the senior-most investment professional in the Los Angeles office for Blackstone Real Estate Debt Strategies with responsibility for sourcing, underwriting and executing West Coast debt transactions across all property types. He earned a B.S. in Business Administration from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business where he graduated Magna Cum Laude.
