Careers
Being a Steers Center student means having the ability to create a portfolio of real estate experiences. Not only do you have access to excellent classes at a top tier institution, you also have the Real Estate Clinic and Laboratory that allows you to apply your learning. Living in Washington D.C. gives you the critical advantage of access to a gateway real estate market and the opportunity to have internships year-round with leading real estate companies. In addition, you have a connection to more than 160,000 Georgetown alumni in 110 countries around the world which allows our students to have abundant networking opportunities.
One of the hallmarks of our program is our dedicated focus on finding students employment. Each one of our faculty and alumni is focused on finding students internships and full-time employment. The faculty views this as a partnership with the students and play an active role with the career centers both at the undergraduate and MBA level in assisting students with their job placement and internships.
The Undergraduate Office of Professional Development and the MBA Career Center work in concert with the real estate faculty to offer comprehensive career management guidance and coaching that is aligned by industry to cultivate opportunities specific to each individual.
