Lena Duffield is an investor at AFRE Capital, a private real estate platform focused on investments in US real estate funds, coinvestments and programmatic joint ventures on behalf of a multinational single family office. Prior to AFRE, Duffield worked at Wheelock Street Capital, a Greenwich, CT-based private equity firm where she was a generalist focused on acquisitions and asset management across opportunistic and core plus investment vehicles. Duffield started her career on the acquisitions team at Morgan Stanley Real Estate Investing in New York City. While at Georgetown, she co-founded the Georgetown Undergraduate Public Real Estate Fund (GUPREF), a student-led investment fund that invests in CMBS and publicly traded REITs. Duffield graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where she received a B.S. in Business Administration with majors in Finance and Management. She currently serves on the boards of NYPEN (New York Private Equity Network) and Georgetown's Real Estate Alliance alumni group in NYC.
