James Gleason is a Vice President at Cloudland Capital, a real estate private equity firm focused on scalable, small-format real estate, where he is responsible for sourcing and executing acquisitions across all major asset classes. Prior to joining Cloudland, Gleason was an Associate in Blackstone’s Real Estate Debt Strategies team, where he originated whole loans, mezzanine loans and preferred equity investments. While at Georgetown, Gleason served as Chief Executive Officer of the Georgetown University Public Real Estate Fund (GUPREF) and Vice President of the Real Estate Club. Gleason graduated Magna Cum Laude from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration with a major in Finance and a minor in Economics.
