Aaron Bothner is based in New York. Bother formerly served as Vice President of acquisitions for Wafra. Bothner primarily covered underwriting and sourcing new investment opportunities for Wafra’s direct equity real estate platform, where he completed multiple acquisitions throughout the United States. He joined Wafra in August 2016 after earning his MBA at Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business. While attending McDonough, Bothner held internships at AvalonBay Communities and StoneBeck Capital and he earned a Poland Fellowship. Prior to enrolling at McDonough, Bothner taught high school social studies through Teach For America and coached teachers throughout the U.S.
