At the Steers Center, we are committed to providing our students with a distinctive educational experience that prepares them to excel on both the national and global real estate stage. Each year, our graduate students embark on real estate treks, domestically and internationally. These immersive trips offer unparalleled opportunities to connect with Georgetown alumni, engage with leading industry professionals, and explore key real estate properties and development projects.

Graduate Real Estate Case Competitions

The McDonough Real Estate Case Competition (M-RECC)

M-RECC is an immersive, hands-on competition designed for real estate students who want to deepen their understanding of the industry. This event simulates real-world scenarios and helps students hone their speaking and analytical skills through a presentation to an investment committee. M-RECC also fosters a supportive environment where students can prepare for national real estate case competitions, gaining valuable experience that enhances their competitive edge in the industry.

National Real Estate Case Competitions

The national real estate competitions take place in various cities across the United States. Georgetown MBA students have participated in cases at UNC-Chapel Hill for the Retail Real Estate Competition, the University of Texas for the Real Estate National Challenge, and the finals of the MIT real estate competition, ‘The Case,’ in London.
