“Located in the nation’s capital, the Steers Center for Global Real Estate at Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business cultivates leading real estate professionals through a highly applied curriculum that integrates the classroom with real estate practice.” – Matthew Cypher, Director of the Steers Center for Global Real Estate.
Our mission at the Steers Center for Global Real Estate within Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business is to provide students with an industry-grade education that produces students who are uniquely competitive in the global real estate job market. To achieve this goal, the Center offers a highly applied educational agenda that employs the Washington, D.C. market, the Real Estate Clinic and Georgetown University’s reputation as a global institution. Founded on a student-centric approach, our boutique program capitalizes on relationships in the private sector from around the world to engage students in practical, real world experience and tailors coursework to teach the realities of global capital flows and investments through an innovative Four Quadrant curriculum model. The Georgetown network, alumni mentors, and faculty members work with students to ensure they are prepared for employment following graduation.
