Luminaries 2025
The Steers Center is excited to invite you to celebrate its 10th Anniversary at the 2025 Real Estate Luminaries. This year, the Steers Center plans to expand the Real Estate Luminaries programming to celebrate the tenth anniversary of its founding. This year’s event will be held in Gaston Hall and feature a star-studded program of speakers.
The event will commence with a panel discussion titled “Real Assets and Energy Innovation: Powering Our Future,” exploring the critical role of energy in the future of the new economy of real assets and how innovation may offer a path forward through sources such as nuclear among others. A new presidential administration often plays an outsized role and will be integral to this conversation. The panel will feature J. Clay Sell, chief executive officer at X-energy; Taite R. McDonald, partner at Holland & Knight; and Andy Power, president and CEO at Digital Realty.
This year’s Real Estate Luminaries will be Jonathan Gray, president and chief operating officer at Blackstone, and Joseph Baratta (B’93), global head of private equity strategies at Blackstone. In a fireside chat titled “Real Assets & Private Equity: A Blackstone Perspective,” moderated by Robert Steers (B’75, P’06,’08,’10), Gray and Baratta will discuss their roles in leading Blackstone to become the largest commercial real estate platform and one of the premier private equity groups in the world today.
